Jen Roberton is a graduate of the School of Community and Regional Planning at the University of British Columbia. Her thesis is on building LGBTQ inclusive communities through safety planning practices.
Before returning to school, Jen spent four years working in the cycling non-profit world in Toronto. She recently left her post as a board member at the AMS Bike Co-op in Vancouver. She also left her position as a member of the LGBTQ2+ Advisory Board at the City of Vancouver, where she was a lead on the subcommittee on youth homelessness and housing accessibility.
Jen actually left Vancouver altogether, and moved back to her hometown, Toronto. She is currently looking for opportunities to use her skills as a planner in housing research, land development, and sustainable transportation.
When she's not hard at work, Jen enjoys taking her fat bike out for some mountain biking fun.
